Tasks App: Automated reminder emails for clients

We now send automated reminder emails to your clients on the same cadence as other reminder emails for forms, contracts, and invoices — so client tasks stay top-of-mind without your team having to chase them down.

For tasks with a due date: reminders go out 3 days before the due date, on the due date, 3 days after, and again 7 days after.

For tasks without a due date: reminders go out 3 days after assignment and again 7 days after.

Task reminders respect your existing client notification settings: you can adjust them workspace-wide at Settings → Client notifications.

Reminders stop automatically when a task is marked done, deleted, or reassigned.

Next up: Muting individual client notifications from the client’s CRM details page is coming soon. And we’re also working on internal email notifications for you and your team when tasks are assigned to you.
