Our roadmap

While we don't share a full public roadmap, here are some of the focus areas for the next year.

Core product

We're always looking to improve our core product with enhancements that make Assembly more seamless, enjoyable, and faster to use. Expect improvements to overall usability (especially for mobile) and more customization options.

Commerce

Our commerce pillar is about helping you get paid. We started with basic invoicing and subscriptions, and we're looking to build the best commerce offering for service businesses. Some of the features we're planning include payment links, more seamless payout reconciliation, improved QuickBooks and Xero integrations, smarter payment retry logic, support for more payment methods, and more customizable checkout.

Platform

Assembly comes with comprehensive features out-of-the-box, but our platform is what really differentiates us Expect continued improvements to the depth and breadth of our API, better resources for developing Custom Apps, and even more expansive support on Zapier and Make.
