# Complete the client-facing foundation

> Brand, domain, home experience, and app setup to finish before a real client enters your workspace.

Your client experience should feel intentional before a real client enters it. Review the entire experience — not only the configuration of each individual app.

## Brand and domain readiness

  Add a link to your client experience, or a log in link, to your website once the URL is final.

  Changing your domain after launch may require clients to log in again. Finalize the client-facing URL before sending invitations whenever possible.

## Home experience and app setup

Review the client-facing app list as a complete experience rather than app by app. Rename and organize apps using language your clients will understand — the first client-facing app in the sidebar becomes the default home experience, so choose it deliberately. The [Client Home app](/docs/built-in-apps/home) is built for this role. It gives clients a dynamic homepage with your announcements and firm information, personalizes content using client data properties and custom fields, and can surface an **Actions** list of items needing their attention. Its **Segments** feature supports up to five Home variants per workspace, each shown based on custom field tag rules — which is how you deliver a different first screen to different client types without building separate apps.
